There are a lot of things that I think are cool, but going to amazon.com, typing my name in, and seeing my book pop up is pretty high on the list. Yep, one month quicker than I thought, the book is here. And, in case you were wondering, it isn't ranked in the sales rankings. But then again, that's not the point. The point is that there's something about this story telling thing that is a lot more powerful than you or I could have ever imagined. But God knew it all along.

He knew that we all have stories to tell. That nothing encourages someone else like hearing how YOU have overcome what THEY are fighting. He knew that each one of us grows stronger not just by winning, but by teaching others that they can, too. The stories that are being written in and by your life daily are there for a reason. And usually the reason is to tell them.

Somewhere in the many faces you'll encounter today is one who needs to hear that God is active in your life. That long line at the DMV? Maybe it would move quicker if we would talk to the people in front and behind us. Hey, when was the last time you asked the cashier how her day was going? If you'll start telling others how big God has been in your life - especially in your everyday, monotonous, routine life - you'll get the chance to watch Him get bigger in theirs. You can influence more people than you think, and it all starts with a story.
